Chamber Presents 15 Under 40 Awards for 2021 + 2022

The Chamber created the 15 Under 40 Professional Awards in 2020 to award individuals who are small business owners, volunteers in their community, or active in non-profit organizations.

GALAX – The Twin County Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, October 6th at the Crossroads Institute in Galax where the 2021 and 2022 – 15 Under 40 Professional Award recipients received their Certificates of Excellence.

The Chamber created the 15 Under 40 Professional Awards in 2020 to award individuals who are small business owners, volunteers in their community, or active in non-profit organizations.

A selection committee consisting of Chamber members, previous recipients, and Chamber board members was created to select the recipients for 2021 and 2022 based on nominations from the community members in the Twin Counties. 

“This is a great way to spotlight our young professionals in the region and really showcase their small businesses, how they are an asset to their community, and give them recognition and appreciation for their dedication here in the Twin Counties”, said Twin County Chamber Executive Director, Laura Whitt. 

The 2021 Recipients were:


Grayson County:

Elizabeth Hash – Skyline National Bank/Hash Wedding Planning

Cody McGrady – Grayson County Sheriff’s Office
