The Twin County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce three new members to its Board of Directors over the past four months.
For the City of Galax: Kaitlin Hodge, Marketing Director of Access Home Health Care and Rehabilitation. Kaitlin is a graduate of Wytheville Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Human Services. She has been an active volunteer with the Smoke on the Mountain Committee for the past few years. Kaitlin has also been elected as Chair of the Marketing Committee.
Jason Baumgardner, Occupational Therapist with the Salem VA Medical Center and Access Home Health Care and Rehabilitation. Jason is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Milligan College. Jason most recently assisted the Smoke on the Mountain Committee with the inaugural “No-Pro Wing Show”.
For Grayson County: Keri Hodges, Individual Business Representative. Keri has been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 10 years and Certified Phlebotomy Technician for 5 years. Prior to joining the Board of Directors, Keri was an active member of the Member Services Committee assisting with the planning of the Annual Chamber Membership Meeting and assisting with building new strategies for membership recruitment. Keri is also a member of the Smoke on the Mountain Committee. Dedicated to the community, Keri also serves with other non-profit organizations and networking committees in the Grayson County area.
The Board of Directors also welcomed the election of Jennie Stucchio of Grayson County, Virginia as the Chamber’s new Board Secretary. Jennie is the Owner and President of Elite Training and Consulting, Inc., of Grayson County, Virginia. Jennie has been a member of the Chamber Board of Directors since June 2018 and an active part of the Smoke on the Mountain Committee.
The Board of Directors consists of twenty-one directors with each locality represented by seven. The board has multiple committees that further help the Chamber mission of “encouraging, promoting, and serving regional businesses and community services through advocacy, economic development, education, and community engagement”. Current established committees are: Marketing, Member Services, and Smoke on the Mountain. The Chamber also has a growing networking program, the Twin County Professionals Network.
The Twin County Chamber of Commerce serves 107 individuals and businesses of Grayson County, City of Galax, and Carroll County, Virginia.
